‘‘বিশ্বে যা-কিছু মহান সৃষ্টি চির-কল্যাণকর, অর্ধেক তার করিয়াছে নারী, অর্ধেক তার নর’’- কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের এই অতি পরিচিত কথাটি যথার্থ বলেই আমরা মানি। এক সময় নারী থাকতো ঘরের মধ্যে আবন্ধ। এখন সেই দিন পরিবর্তন হয়েছে। নারী তার নিজের মেধা-যোগ্যতা দিয়ে স্থান করে নিচ্ছে সাফল্যের সর্বোচ্চ শিখরে। ব্যবসা কিংবা সরকারি-বেসরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠার উচ্চে পদে নারীর সংখ্যা বাড়ছে দিনে দিনে। নিজেদের পৃথিবী নিজেরা সাজিয়ে নিচ্ছে নিজেদের মতো করে। দেশের আর্থসামাজিক, রাজনৈতিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক বলয়ের বিভিন্ন সূচকে অর্ধাংশ কর্মজীবী নারী ও সমানতালে ভূমিকা রেখে চলেছে।

একজন নারী ঘরে যতটুকু নিজের সাহসিকতার সাথে সবকিছু গুছিয়ে নিচ্ছেন একই সাথে কর্মক্ষেত্রেও নিজস্ব সাহস পুঁজি করে গুছিয়ে আনছেন সবকিছু। যুগের সাথে তাল মিলাতে যেয়ে বর্তমান কর্মজীবী নারী দের অনেক বেশি চাপ সামলাতে হয়। অফিস আর বাসা মিলিয়ে দায়িত্ব আর কর্তব্যের তালিকা থাকে বিশাল। সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত অফিসে কাজ করে ঘরে এসে আবার করতে হয় রান্নাবান্না, ছেলেমেয়েদেরকে সামলানোসহ সংসারের আরো নানান যাবতীয় কাজ। আরও থাকে প্রিয়জন আর পরিবারের প্রতি ভালোবাসার মনোযোগ। তাই চাকরিজীবী নারীদের নিজেকে সুস্থ রাখার জন্য বিশেষভাবে যত্নবান হওয়া দরকার।

কিছু পরিসংখ্যান দেখে নিন

বাংলাদেশ পরিসংখ্যান ব্যুরোর একটি হিসাব অনুযায়ী কর্মজীবী পুরুষের তুলনায় কর্মজীবী নারী দিনে কাজ করেন তিনগুণ। ২০১৯ সালের মার্চ মাসে বাংলাদেশ পরিসংখ্যান ব্যুরোর সমীক্ষা অনুযায়ী, ২০১৬-১৭ সাল পর্যন্ত দেশের সরকারি ও বেসরকারি কর্মক্ষেত্রে নারী অংশগ্রহণের হার প্রায় ৩৬%। যা ২০০০ সালে ছিল মাত্র ২৫%। বাংলাদেশে মোট নারীর ৫৭% কর্মজীবী যেখানে ভারতে মাত্র ২৯%।

এবার আসি ঘরের কাজ কে কতটুকু করে সে বিষয়ে। জরিপ অনুযায়ী, পুরুষ ও নারী উভয়ই কর্মজীবী—এমন পারিবারিক পরিবেশে ৮৫ শতাংশ ক্ষেত্রেই রান্নার কাজটি করতে হয় ওই নারীকে। আর কর্মজীবী পুরুষের রান্না করতে হয় মাত্র ২.৫ শতাংশ ক্ষেত্রে। কর্মজীবী ১০০ নারীর মধ্যে ৮৯ জনই কাপড় ধোয়ার কাজ নিজেই করেন। আর ১০০ কর্মজীবী পুরুষের ক্ষেত্রে এই কাজ করেন মাত্র ১২ জন। কর্মজীবী নারীদের ৮৮ শতাংশ ঘর পরিষ্কারসহ বাসার বিভিন্ন জিনিস পরিস্কার রাখার কাজ করে থাকেন যেখানে পুরুষদের ক্ষেত্রে এই হার মাত্র ৭ শতাংশ।

তবে মজার ব্যাপার হলো, কর্মজীবী পুরুষদের ৭৭ শতাংশই ঘরের কেনাকাটার কাজটি করে থাকেন। অন্যদিকে ২৬ শতাংশ কর্মজীবী নারী চাকরির পাশাপাশি সংসারের জন্য কেনাকাটার কাজটিও নিয়মিত করে থাকেন। পরিবারের শিশু, বৃদ্ধ ও অসুস্থ সদস্যদের দেখভালের দায়িত্বও বেশির ভাগ কর্মজীবী নারী কে সামলাতে হয়। ৫৩ শতাংশ কর্মজীবী নারী নিয়মিত এ কাজ করেন। বিপরীতে পরিবারের এসব সদস্যের যত্ন নেওয়ার কাজটি করে থাকেন ২১ শতাংশ কর্মজীবী পুরুষ। কর্মজীবী একজন পুরুষ ২৪ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে অর্থের বিনিময়ে ৬ ঘণ্টা ৫৪ মিনিট কাজ করেন। অপরদিকে একজন কর্মজীবী নারী কাজ করেন ৫ ঘণ্টা ১২ মিনিট।

আদর্শ জীবনসঙ্গী খুঁজতে

সময় যখন আসবে ঘর সামলানোর এবং একই সাথে কর্মস্থান সামলানো ঠিক তখনই আপনাকে জানতে হবে কিভাবে কাজ এবং দায়িত্বের মধ্যে ভারসাম্য আনতে হবে। ঘর এবং বাইরে দুই অবস্থানকেই সামলানো একজন কর্মজীবী নারীর জন্য কঠিন হলেও অসম্ভব নয়। রুটিন জীবন যাপন অনেকটাই সহজ করে দেয় সবকিছু। কিভাবে? চলুন, একটু না হয় জেনে নেয়া যাক।

সকালে তাড়াতাড়ি ঘুম থেকে উঠুন

আপনি যদি একজন কর্মজীবী নারী হোন তাহলে চেষ্টা করুন খুব সকালে দিনটি শুরু করার জন্য। খুব সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠলে অনেক কাজ আগেভাগেই সম্পন্ন করা যায়। প্রতিদিন ভোরবেলায় যখন আপনি জলদি ঘুম থেকে উঠবেন তখন নিজের জন্য পর্যাপ্ত সময় পাবেন সারাটা দিন কি করবেন তার পরিকল্পনা করার জন্য। তাই প্রতিদিন সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠার জন্য একটি সুনির্দিষ্ট সময় নির্ধারণ করতে হবে। আর সময়টি এমনভাবে নির্ধারণ করুন যাতে সংসারের যাবতীয় কাজ শেষ করে অফিসে যাওয়ার প্রস্তুতির জন্য পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণ সময় থাকে। ঘরের ভেতর অফিসের কাজের ব্যস্ততা রাখবেন না। সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠে আধঘন্টা হেঁটে এসে নাস্তা বানিয়ে পরিবারের সাথে সকালের খাবার খান।

সকালেই কিছু কাজ সেরে রাখুন

সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠে দ্রুত রান্নাবান্নার কাজ সেরে ফেলতে পারেন। এতে বিকেলে অফিস থেকে এসে আবার রান্নার জন্য সময় ব্যয় করতে হবে না, আর আপনিও বিশ্রামের জন্য সময় পাবেন। সকালে খুব সাধারণ কিন্তু পুষ্টিকর খাবার রান্না করুন। এতে আপনি সহ পরিবারের সবার পুষ্টির চাহিদা পূরণ হবে। আপনার কাজে সাহায্য করার জন্য একজন সাহায্যকারী রাখতে পারেন যে আপনার অনুপস্থিতিতে বাড়ির ছোটখাটো কাজ গুলো করে রাখতে পারে।

কাজের লিস্ট করে রাখুন

কর্মজীবী নারী হয়ে ঘরের কেনাকাটা বা সপ্তাহের বাজার যদি আপনাকেই করতে হয় তাহলে এগুলো সহ অন্য যে কোনো জরুরি কাজের লিস্ট করে রাখুন। কেনাকাটা বা সপ্তাহের বাজারের জন্য ছুটির দিনগুলোকে কাজে লাগাতে পারেন। কাজের তালিকা করে রাখার অভ্যাস আপনাকে সবকিছু ব্যালেন্স করতে হেল্প করবে। দিনের শুরুতেই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজ সেরে ফেলুন। কারণ বিকেলের দিকে এনার্জি লেভেল কম থাকে। আনন্দ নিয়ে কাজ করুন, কাজকে বোঝা ভাববেন না।

আপনার দৈনন্দিন কাজের লিস্ট তৈরি করতে পারেন ডায়রিতে বা আপনার মোবাইল ফোনের নোটপ্যাডে কিংবা ল্যাপটপে। মোবাইল বা ল্যাপটপ আপনাকে কোন কাজটি কোন সময় করবেন তা মনে করিয়ে দিবে আর এভাবে সময়ের সঠিক ব্যবস্থাপনা আপনার জীবনকে করবে আরো সহজ।

কর্মজীবী নারী স্বামীর সাহায্য নিন

স্বামীর সঙ্গে এমনভাবে সম্পর্ক গড়ে তুলুন, যাতে সে কাজের সময় আপনাকে সঙ্গ দেয়। যখন আপনার স্বামী আপনার ঘরের কাজে আপনাকে সহায়তা করবে তার এই সহায়তাকারী মনোভাবটি আপনার জন্য অনুপ্রেরণা হয়ে দাঁড়াবে। যেকোন কাজ করার আগে দু’জনে মিলে সিদ্ধান্ত নিন। যেমন বাচ্চাকে স্কুলে দিয়ে আসা এবং বাচ্চার পড়াশোনার ব্যাপারে খোঁজখবর রাখা দায়িত্বটি আপনার স্বামীকে বুঝিয়ে দিতে পারেন। বিশেষ করে যখন আপনি অসুস্থ থাকনে তখন যেন রান্নার কাজটা আপনার স্বামী করতে পারে।

গৃহস্থালির দায়িত্ব স্বামী ছাড়াও পরিবারের অন্য সদস্যরা ভাগাভাগি করে নিলে সংসারের শান্তি থাকে। কাঁটায় কাঁটায় সমান সমান কাজ না হোক, আপনার দিকে যেন বেশীরভাগ কাজ না পড়ে সেটা নিশ্চিত করুন। স্বামীকে অবশ্যই সংসারে এই মাত্রার দায়িত্ববান হতে হবে যাতে স্ত্রীর কর্মজীবন নির্বিঘ্ন হতে পারে। কর্মজীবী নারী দিনভর অফিসে খেটে এসে ঘরের কাজে টানা লেগে থাকা, শারীরিক আর মানসিক উভয় বিপর্যয়ের কারণ হতে পারে।

কর্মজীবী নারী ব্যালেন্স করে চলুন

একজন কর্মজীবী নারী হিসেবে আপনাকে অবশ্যই দায়িত্বের সাথে আপনার পেশাদারিত্ব পালন করতে হবে। মনে রাখবেন যখন আপনি  যখন বাড়িতে থাকবেন তখন অফিসের কাজগুলোক পরিবারের সদস্যদের সামনে এমনভাবে নিয়ে আসবেন না আবার যখন অফিসে থাকবেন তখন সেখানে নিজস্ব দায়িত্বগুলো ভালোভাবে পালন করবেন। অফিসের কাজ আর বাড়ির কাজ যেন গুলিয়ে না ফেলেন, সেদিকে খেয়াল রাখবেন। অফিসের কাজে যখনই সময় পাবেন তখনই পরিবারের সদস্যদের খোঁজ নিন। তাদের কিছু লাগবে কিনা বা সংসারে কোন প্রয়োজনীয় জিনিস লাগবে কিনা সেগুলোও জেনে নিন। সময়কে এমনভাবে ব্যবহার করুন যাতে করে কোন অবসর বা কোন ব্যস্ততা আপনার কর্মস্থান এবং আপনার সংসার কে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত না করে।

সবার সাথে সুসম্পর্ক রাখুন

কর্মজীবী নারী হয়ে ঘরে ও বাইরে দায়িত্ব পালন করতে হলে অবশ্যই পরিবারের সদস্যদের সঙ্গে সুসম্পর্ক বজায় রাখতে হবে। অফিসে অনেক কাজই থাকে যেগুলো বাসায় বসে করতে হয়। যে কাজগুলো আপনি বাসা থেকে করছেন সেগুলোর যেন মিস না হয়। সময়মতো সে কাজগুলো করে ফেলুন। অফিসে যদি অতিরিক্ত সময় থাকতে হয় তাহলে আপনার স্বামী এবং পরিবারের অন্য সদস্যদের বলবেন যেন আপনার জন্য তারা অতিরিক্ত কাজগুলো করে রাখে।

আপনার পরিবারের অন্য সদস্যদের সাথে এভাবে সমঝোতা গড়ে তুলুন যাতে এমন হয় যে, আপনার কর্মব্যস্ত দিনগুলোকে তাচ্ছিল্যভরে না দেখে বরং সম্মানের সাথে গ্রহণ করে। এছাড়া যে অফিসে চাকরি করছেন সেখানে প্রত্যেক স্টাফদের সাথে সুসম্পর্ক বজায় রাখুন। অফিস থেকে কখনো কোথাও বাইরে যাওয়ার পরিকল্পনা হলে তাদের সাথে অবশ্যই যোগদান করুন এতে অফিসের সকল কর্মীদের সাথে আপনার একটি সুসম্পর্ক বজায় থাকবে।

কর্মজীবী নারী সন্তানদেরকে স্বনির্ভর হতে শেখান

কর্মজীবী নারী হিসেবে আপনি অফিস কিংবা ব্যবসার কাজে ব্যস্ত থাকলে বাচ্চাদেরকে ছোটবেলা থেকেই স্বনির্ভর হতে শেখান। স্বনির্ভর হবার অর্থ এই নয় যে প্রতিটা কাজই বাচ্চারা নিজের হাতে করবে, কিন্তু বেশিরভাগ কাজ নিজে করতে পারার মত শিক্ষা তাদের দিতে হবে। সকালে মুখহাত ধুয়ে নাস্তার টেবিলে আসার অভ্যাস, পড়ার টেবিল, বিছানা ও ঘর গোছানোর মতো ছোট কাজগুলো সন্তানকেই শিখিয়ে দিন। স্কুলের মতো অফিসে যাবারও নির্দিষ্ট সময় থাকে, দেরি হলে অফিসেও বকুনি শোনা লাগতে পারে এই জিনিসগুলো খুবই সহজ কথায় বাচ্চাদের বুঝিয়ে বলুন। সকালের নাশতা কিংবা রাতের খাবারটা পরিবারের সবাই একসঙ্গে বসে করুন। এতে পারিবারিক বন্ধন অটুট থাকবে।

অবশ্যই নিজের জন্য সময় রাখুন

কর্মজীবী নারী হলেও শত ব্যস্ততার মধ্যে শুধুমাত্র নিজের জন্য কোয়ালিটি টাইম বের করুন। বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে ঘুরতে বের হোন, সিনেমা দেখুন কিংবা পরিবারের সদস্যদের নিয়ে শপিংয়ে বের হোন। এছাড়া নিজের যত্ন ও রূপচর্চার জন্য কিছু সময় বের করুন।

কর্মজীবী নারী সবসমসয় থাকুন হাসিখুশি

সপ্তাহ শেষে ছুটির দিনটিতে পরিবার নিয়ে বিভিন্ন বিনোদনের আয়োজন করুন। নতুন কোন জায়গায় ঘুরতে যাওয়া, সিনেমা দেখা, বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানে যাওয়া, প্রিয় কারো সাথে দেখা করার প্ল্যান রাখতে পারেন। বড় ছুটি পেলে দূরে কোথাও ভ্রমণে বেড়িয়ে পড়তে পারেন।

অফিসে সহকর্মীদের সঙ্গে পরচর্চায়, পরনিন্দায়, হতাশার কথায় অংশ নেবেন না। সম্ভব হলে এগুলোকে নিরুৎসাহিত করবেন। নিজের ব্যক্তিগত সমস্যার কথা একান্ত বন্ধুর সঙ্গে শেয়ার করুন অথবা কোন মনোবিদের সহায়তা নিন। সবসময় হাসিখুশি থাকুন ও নিজের কাজকে উপভোগ করুন।

গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্বাস্থ্য পরামর্শ

কর্মজীবী নারী ঘরে-বাইরে সবদিকে সময় দিলে শরীরে অনেক ধকল সহ্য করতে হয়। ব্যস্ততা এতটাই অবসন্ন করে রাখে যে, এই নিজের স্বাস্থ্যের বিষয়টা খেয়ালের বাইরে চলে যায়। তবুও নিজের খেয়ালটা কিন্তু নিজেকেই রাখতে হবে। নিউট্রিশন আর ফিটনেসে গরমিলটা এড়ানো গেলে কিন্তু কর্মব্যস্ত জীবনটাও উপভোগ্য হয়ে উঠবে। কিছু নিয়ম-কানুন অনুসরণ করলেই ভালো থাকা যায়-

১. সকালে উঠে কাজ শুরু করার আগে নিয়মিত ব্যায়াম করুন। হালকা ও মুক্ত হাতে ব্যায়াম করুন ২০-২৫ মিনিট। এতে সারাদিন আপনার শরীর ও মন সজীব ও চাঙা থাকবে। অফিস থেকে ফিরে আসার পরও নিয়মিত ব্যায়াম করতে পারেন।

২. অফিসে একটানা বসে কাজ করবেন না। কাজের ফাঁকে একটু হাঁটাহাঁটি করুন। দাঁড়িয়ে কাজ করার অভ্যাসও করতে পারেন। এটি আপনার শরীরকে সক্রিয় রাখতে সহায়তা করবে।

৩. অফিসে দীর্ঘক্ষণ খালি পেটে থাকা যাবে না। কারণ তা আপনার শরীরের অ্যাসিডিটিসহ বিভিন্ন রোগ হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা বাড়াতে পারে। সবসময় নিজের সঙ্গে করে হালকা খাবার নিয়ে যাবেন। সাদা রুটি, বিস্কুট, সবজি ও ফল জাতীয় খাবার নিতে পারেন।

৪. কাজের চাপে কর্মজীবী নারী অনেক সময় পানি পান করতে ভুলে যান। এটি শুধু পানিশূণ্যতা নয়, ইউরিন ইনফেকশনের ঝুঁকিও বাড়িয়ে দেয়। তাই অফিসে গেলে নিজের সঙ্গে পানির বোতল রাখুন।

৫. বেশি ক্যালরিযুক্ত খাবার খাবেন না। আবার খাবার অতিরিক্ত কমও খাওয়া যাবে না। কারণ এতে আপনার শরীর দুর্বল হয়ে যাবে। খাবারের মধ্যে বৈচিত্র্য নিয়ে আসুন। খেয়াল রাখবেন আপনার খাবার তালিকায় ফল ও সবজি যেন পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণে থাকে। নিয়মিত সুষম খাদ্যাভ্যাস আপনাকে সুষ্ঠ ও সবল রাখবে।

৬. নিয়মিত খাবারের তালিকায় শর্করা জাতীয় খাবার যেমন ভাত, রুটির পরিমাণ কম রেখে শাকসবজি ও সালাদের পরিমাণ বেশি রাখতে হবে। রাতের খাবারটা খুব হালকা হওয়া উচিৎ। আর রাতে ঘুমাতে যাওয়ার কমপক্ষে দু’ঘণ্টা আগে রাতের খাবার শেষ করবেন।

পরিশেষে কর্মজীবী নারী

আপনি একজন যুগসন্ধিক্ষণের নারী। মনে রাখবেন যে সময়টা আপনারা পরিশ্রম ও মেধা দিয়ে অধিকার প্রতিষ্ঠা করে যাচ্ছেন তার ফলাফল হিসেবে আপনার উত্তরসূরিরা পাবে সুন্দর একটি পরিবেশ। তবে কর্মজীবী মানেই কিন্তু অনবরত কাজ করে যাওয়া নয়। ঘরে ও বাইরের কাজগুলো ভাগের মাধ্যমে সময়ের সঠিক ব্যবস্থাপনা করতে পারলে আপনি হতে পারবেন একজন সফল কর্মজীবী মা, একজন সফল কর্মজীবী স্ত্রী এবং একজন সফল কর্মজীবী নারী ব্যক্তিত্ব। তাই যতো ব্যস্তই থাকুন না কেন প্রতিদিন নিজের জন্য কিছুটা সময় বের করে নিজের যত্ন নিন। সময় ব্যবস্থাপনার এই ছোট ছোট বিষয়গুলো আপনাকে সময়ের সাথে ঘরে এবং বাইরে সাফল্যের সাথে কাজ করার অনুপ্রেরণা যোগাবে। আপনি সুস্থ ও সুন্দর থাকলেই পরিবার ও সমাজ থাকবে সুন্দর।
