টাকা জমানোর বা সঞ্চয় করার তেমন অভিজ্ঞতা নেই বলে হিমশিম খাচ্ছেন এই ভেবে যে কীভাবে টাকা জমানো শুরু করবেন? কোন চিন্তাই নেই! খুবই সহজ কিছু উপায় মেনে চলতে পারলে এবং বাজেট করতে শিখে গেলে টাকা জমানো কোন কঠিন ব্যাপার নয়। হয়তো আপনার প্রতিমাসের বেতন এমন কিছুতে খরচ হয়ে যায়, যেখানে খরচ না করলেও চলতো। আর সত্যিকারের প্রয়োজনের সময় সেই টাকাটা কাজে লাগতো।

হাতে টাকা-পয়সা আসলেই খরচ হয়ে যায়! কিন্তু ভবিষ্যৎ সুন্দর করার জন্য অর্থ সঞ্চয় করাটা খুবই জরুরি। যাতে ভবিষ্যতে কোন কারণে অর্থের সমস্যা হলে সঞ্চয় করা অর্থ দিয়ে সেই সমস্যা দূর করা যায়। কিন্তু বেশিরভাগ মানুষই অর্থ জমাতে পারে না। অর্থ জমাতে গেলে খরচ করার সময় কিছুটা সতর্ক হতে হয়। আবার নানা কৌশল প্রয়োগ করা যেতে পারে।

জেনে নিন টাকা জমানোর খুবই চমৎকার এবং অসাধারণ কয়েকটি উপায়

১. টাকা জমানোর জন্য প্রতিদিনের খরচের হিসাব রাখুন

প্রতিদিন কোথায় কত খরচ হল তার হিসাব একটা খাতায় লিখে রাখুন। মাস শেষে সেটি নিয়ে বসুন। তাহলে আপনি একটা বাস্তবিক ধারণা পাবেন যে মাস শেষে কত টাকা আপনার কাছে জমানোর জন্য বাকি থাকবে। এবার দেখুন কোন কোন খাতে খরচ বেশি হয়েছে এবং সেগুলো একটু চেষ্টা করলেই কমানো সম্ভব কিনা! এখন আমরা অনেকেই সরাসরি ব্যাংকে টাকা পাই, সেখান থেকে স্টেটমেন্ট দেখলেই আপনি বুঝতে পারবেন কোথায় কোথায় টাকা চলে যাচ্ছে। আপনার খরচের অভ্যাস সম্পর্কে আপনার পরিষ্কার ধারণা হয়ে যাবে।

২. বাইরে খাওয়া-দাওয়া কমিয়ে ফেলুন

আপনি হয়তো বাইরে খেতে পছন্দ করেন। এই বাইরে খাওয়াটি কমিয়ে ফেলুন। প্রতি সপ্তাহে বাইরে খেতে যাওয়ার পরিবর্তে মাসে একবার খেতে যান। খুব সহজে টাকা জমানোর একটি উপায় হল বাইরে খাওয়া কমিয়ে দেয়া। বাইরে খাওয়া বন্ধ করে টাকা জমান। কয়েকদিন কষ্ট হলেও নিজেকে এইভাবে মানসিকভাবে প্রস্তুত করে ফেরলুন যে আপনি বাইরের খাবার বেশি খাবেন না। তাতে শরীর ভালো থাকবে আর পকেটটাও বাঁচবে।

৩. শপিংয়ে যাওয়ার আগে

পৃথিবীতে মানুষের পছন্দের শেষ নেই। তাই পছন্দ হলেই যদি কিনতে থাকেন তাহলে আপনার কেনা কখনোই শেষ হবে না। যেকোনো পছন্দের জিনিস কেনার আগে ভাবুন এটি না কিনলে আপনার কোনো সমস্যা হবে কিনা বা এটি যে কাজে ব্যবহার করবেন সেই কাজ আপনি অন্য কোনো উপায় সারতে পারেন কিনা। যদি না কিনে পারা যায় তাহলে অহেতুক কেন পয়সা খরচ করবেন।

আমাদের অনেকেরই অভ্যাস হল রাস্তায় যেতে যেতে কোনো দোকানে কিছু পছন্দ হলে হুট করে কিনে ফেলা। এটা করার ফলে বেশিরভাগ সময়েই আমরা অপ্রয়োজনীয় জিনিসপত্র দিয়ে ঘর বোঝাই করে ফেলি। জিনিস পছন্দ হয়ে গেলেই হুট করে কিনে না ফেলে একটু ভেবে নিন। দরকার হলে ১/২ দিন পরে কিনুন।

৪. লাঞ্চ ও চা-কফিতে খরচ বাঁচান

অনেকেই অফিসে দুপুরের খাবার কিনে খেতে পছন্দ করেন। কিন্তু আপনি যদি বাসায় তৈরী খাবার নিয়ে যান তাহলে আপনি অনেক টাকা জমা রাখতে পারবেন। দোকানের খাবার ঘরের তৈরি খাবারের তুলনায় ব্যয়বহুল। তাই প্রতিদিন ঘরের তৈরি খাবার নেয়ার চেষ্টা করুন এতে আপনার শরীর ভালো থাকবে ও কিছু টাকাও বাচবে।

অনেকেই চা-কফি ছাড়া কাজ করতে চান না। ভাবেন এগুলোর আর কত দাম? আবার সব সময় তো আর একা চা-কফি খাওয়া যায় না, অফিসের সমস্ত মানুষদের কে নিয়ে অফিসের নিচের দোকানটায় বেশ আড্ডা মেরে চা, কফি, সিগারেট খেয়ে মজার গল্প করে সময় কাটাতে অনেকেই চান। কিন্তু প্রতিদিন এমন চা, কফি, সিগারেট খেতে গিয়ে টাকা খরচ কত হয় তা একবার ভেবে দেখেছেন? এতবার করে চা কফি সিগারেট খাওয়া কমিয়ে দিন। তাতে শরীর ভালো থাকবে আর পকেটটাও ভর্তি থাকবে।

৫. ক্রেডিট কার্ড ব্যবহারে সতর্ক হোন

ক্রেডিট কার্ড আপনাকে সব সময় ঋণী করে রাখে। তাই খুব প্রয়োজন ছাড়া এই কার্ড ব্যবহার করবেন না। খুব জরুরী প্রয়োজন ছাড়া এড়িয়ে চলুন। কার্ড থাকলে টাকা তুলতে ইচ্ছা করবে, কার্ড না থাকলে তেমন ইচ্ছা হবে ও না। পকেটে যতটুকু টাকা আছে ততটুকুতেই চালাতে হবে। এভাবেই নিজেকে মানসিকভাবে প্রস্তুত করে ফেলুন। দেখবেন মাসের শেষে অনেকগুলো টাকা বেঁচে গেছে।

৬. টাকা জমানোর জন্য বিলাসিতা করবেন না

অন্যের ঘরের দামি দামি আসবাবপত্র দেখে অকারণে আপনার সাধ্যের বাইরে কিছু কিনে ফেলবেন না। শরীর থেকে বিলাসিতা কে দূর করুন। আপনি যত সাধারণ থাকতে পারবেন তত আপনার শরীর ভালো থাকবে সাথে টাকা পয়সা বেঁচে যাবে। এছাড়া যাতায়াতের জন্য সবসময় উবার ব্যবহার করবেন না; পাবলিক ট্রান্সপোর্ট ব্যবহার করুন। আর পাঁচটা মানুষ যেভাবে বাসে যায় মাঝে মধ্যে সেইভাবে যাওয়া অভ্যাস রাখুন। এতে শরীর ভালো থাকবে আর সাথে টাকা-পয়সা অনেকটা বাঁচবে।

৭. ঘরের বাড়তি জিনিস বিক্রি করে দিন

আমরা অনেক সময় শখে অনেক জিনিস কিনে থাকি, যেগুলো আদপেও আমাদের কাজে লাগে না। এমন জিনিস বাড়িতে না রেখে দিয়ে সেগুলো বিক্রি করে দিন। বাড়ির অপ্রয়োজনীয় পণ্যসামগ্রী, পুরনো স্মার্টফোন ও ইলেক্ট্রনিক্স পণ্য, ডিভিডি, কম্পিউটার, পুরনো বই ইত্যাদি ব্যবহার না করলে বিক্রি করে দিন। ঘরে কিছুটা জায়গাও পাবেন আর পকেটও ভর্তি থাকবে।

৮. ঝোঁকের বশে খরচ করা বন্ধ করুন

এটা কঠিন বলে মনে হলেও অধিকাংশ মানুষ প্রতি সপ্তাহে প্রায় ২৫০ থেকে ২৪০০ টাকা পর্যন্ত সেভ করতে পারে। আপনি এখন থেকে জমানো শুরু করলে বছর শেষে যেকোনো বিল ও ঋণ পরিশোধ করতে আপনার সুবিধা হবে।

৯. টাকা জমানোর জন্য কম খরচে ঘুরতে যান

বেড়াতে যেতে অনেকেই ভালোবাসেন কিন্তু বেড়াতে গিয়ে সব সময় যে বেশি দামী হোটেলে থাকতে হবে বা অতিরিক্ত ভালো হোটেলে গিয়ে খাওয়া-দাওয়া করতে হবে এমনটা না করলেও চলে। এদিক ওদিক ঘুরে বেড়ানোর জন্য যতটুকু টাকা প্রয়োজন ততটুকুই খরচ করুন।

১০. লক্ষ্য নির্ধারণ করুন

আপনি টাকা কিসের জন্য জমাতে চাচ্ছেন, সেটা আগে ঠিক করুন। তাই বলে অবাস্তব ও অসম্ভব টার্গেট সেট করবেন না। হয়তো কিছু টাকা জমিয়ে বিদেশ ঘুরে আসতে চান, কিংবা ঘরের জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কিছু কিনতে চান। তাহলে সেই উদ্দেশ্যটা সবসময় মাথায় রাখুন। জেনে নিন কতটাকা হলে আপনি সেই স্বপ্ন পূরণ করতে পারবেন। প্রতি মাসে কমপক্ষে কত টাকা আলাদা করে রাখলে সেই টাকাটা দ্রুত জমাতে পারবেন সেটা হিসাব করে ফেলুন। তাহলে টাকা জমানো সহজ হয়ে যাবে।

১১. অল্প অল্প করে জমানো শুরু করুন

প্রতিদিন অল্প অল্প করে সঞ্চয় শুরু করুন। মাসের প্রথমে আপনার আয়ের একটি ছোট অংশ রাখুন জমানোর জন্য। এছাড়াও প্রতিদিনের আয় থেকে ৫০ – ১০০ – ২০০ টাকা বাচিয়ে রাখতে পারেন। সপ্তাহ শেষে কত টাকা বাচঁল তার হিসাব রাখুন। পরের সপ্তাহে টাকা বাচাঁনোর পরিকল্পনা করুন। সপ্তাহের একটি দিন ঠিক করুন, যেদিন কোনো খরচ করবেন না। প্রতি সপ্তাহে এরকম একটি দিন পালন করুন। দেখবেন খরচ অনেকখানি কমে গেছে। বারান্দা কিংবা ছাদের এককোণে সবজি বাগান করুন। এই   ছোট বাগানটি আপনার সবজি কেনার খরচ কমিয়ে দেবে।

১২. টাকা জমানোর জন্য আলাদা খামে খরচের টাকা রাখুন

আপনার খরচের হাত খুব যদি বেশী হয় তবে প্রতি মাসের শুরুতেই আলাদা খামে খরচ করার জন্যে টাকা গুছিয়ে তুলে রাখুন। প্রয়োজনে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন খাতের জন্য ভিন্ন ভিন্ন খামে টাকা রাখুন, যেমন- দরকারি জিনিসপত্র কেনার জন্য আলাদা খাম, শখের জিনিস কেনার জন্য আলাদা খাম, বই কেনার জন্য আলাদা খাম ইত্যাদি! কোন খামের টাকা শেষ হয়ে গেলে সেই মাসের জন্য সেটাই আপনার বাজেট। এর বাইরে আর আপনি খরচ করতে পারবেন না।

১৩. সঞ্চয় অ্যাকাউন্ট খুলুন

চেষ্টা করুন প্রতি মাসে কিছু টাকা পোস্ট অফিস, ব্যাঙ্কের ডিপোজিট বা বাজারচলতি ভালো কোনো প্রকল্পে টাকা জমান। চেষ্টা করুন বিমা শুরু করতে। এতে মাসে মাসে কিছু টাকা অন্তত জমবে। আপনার যদি খাটানোর মতো অল্প কিছু অর্থও থাকে তাহলে তা এমন কোনো ব্যাংকের অ্যাকাউন্টে রাখুন, যা ভালো লভ্যাংশ দেয়। একই টাকা বিভিন্ন ব্যাংকে বা সঞ্চয় প্রকল্পে বিভিন্ন ধরনের লভ্যাংশ দেয়। তবে এক্ষেত্রে অবশ্যই নির্ভরযোগ্য আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠানের দ্বারস্থ হবেন।

১৪. টাকা জমানোর জন্য বিনিয়োগ করতে পারেন

শুধু টাকা জমানোর মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ থাকাটা বুদ্ধিমানের কাজ হবে না। জমানো অর্থ থেকে ভালো কিছু পেতে চাইলে তা বিনিয়োগের চেষ্টা করতে হবে। বাজারে এমন অসংখ্য সুযোগ আছে। তবে যাচাই বাছাই করে জেনেশুনে বুঝে বিনিয়োগ করুন।

১৫. টাকা জমানোর জন্য দরকার আগ্রহ ও সদিচ্ছা

টাকা উপার্জন বাড়ানোর আগ্রহ কার না আছে? কিন্তু শুধু উপার্জন বাড়ানোই টাকা বাড়ানোর একমাত্র উপায় নয়, সঞ্চয় করেও বাড়ানো যায় টাকা। প্রতিযোগিতার এই বাজারে একটু ভালো ভাবে বাঁচতে চাইলে পর্যাপ্ত অর্থ-বিত্তের বিকল্প নেই। আপনি যদি একটু বুঝে-শুনে চলেন তাহলে দেখবেন খুব সহঝেই কিছু টাকা সঞ্চয় করে ফেলেছেন আপনি। দরকার একটু পরিকল্পনা।
