পরিবার এমন একটি সামাজিক প্রতিষ্ঠান যা ব্যতীত একটি মানুষের পক্ষে বেঁচে থাকা প্রায় অসম্ভব। জীবনের প্রতিটি মুহূর্তে পরিবারের প্রতিটি সদস্যের প্রয়োজনীয়তা অপরিসীম। তবে একজন ব্যক্তির পক্ষে পরিবারের প্রত্যেকটা মানুষের সব আশা-আকাঙ্ক্ষা সবসময় পূরণ করা সম্ভব হয় না। তারপরও সন্তান হিসেবে একটু সচেতনতা, একটু ত্যাগ স্বীকার আর ভালোবাসাই পারে আপনাকে আপনার পরিবারের মধ্যমণি হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে।

১) ‘বাবা-মা’ যাদের ভালোবাসায় আপনি এ ভুবনে এসেছেন সেই মানুষগুলোর অস্তিত্ব আপনাকে গভীর ভাবে উপলব্ধি করতে হবে। কারণ যাদের বাবা-মা নেই; মানে এ ভুবনের মায়া ত্যাগ করে পাড়ি জমিয়েছেন ভিন্ন এক ভুবনে সেই বাবা-মায়ের সন্তানেরা বুঝেন বাবা-মা কি জিনিস। সেই অর্থে একটি পরিবারে বাবা-মায়ের অস্তিত্বের গুরুত্বটা অতি তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ। সন্তান হিসেবে বাবা-মা বেঁচে থাকা অবস্খায় তাদের সেবা-যত্ন করুন যেমনটা আপনি শিশু থাকা অবস্থায় তারা আপনার সেবা-যত্ন করেছিলো।

২) বাবা-মায়ের সাথে সবসময় নম্র-ভদ্রতা বজায় রেখে কথা বলবেন। কখনই তাদের সাথে উচ্চ স্বরে বা ধমকের সুরে কথা বলবেন না। তারা কখনও কোনো কারণে আপনার উপর রাগ দেখালে আপনি নিরবে সব শুনে যাবেন। সন্তান হিসেবে তারা আপনাকে এখন বকা দিচ্ছে একটু পরে ঠিকই বুকে টেনে নিয়ে পরম স্নেহ-ভালবাসায় আদর করে দিবে। ভুল করেও তাদের উপর রাগ দেখাবেন না।

৩. যে কোনো কাজ অথবা সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহনের আগে পরিবারের সবার সাথে পরামর্শ করুন। সকলের মতামত গুলো জানুন। সকলের মতামতকে প্রাধান্য দিন। সন্তান হিসেবে গুরুজনদের দিকনির্দেশনা গুলো অনুসরণ করার চেষ্টা করুন। সেই কাজে তাদের দোয়া ও আল্লাহর রহমত থাকবে। যা সফলতা বয়ে আনতে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করবে।

আদর্শ জীবনসঙ্গী খুঁজতে

৪. কর্মজীবনের প্রথম রোজগার দিয়ে নিজের পছন্দে বাবা-মা, ভাই-বোনদের জন্য পোষাক ক্রয় করে নিয়ে যান। কিছু মিষ্টান্ন ও তাদের পছন্দের খাবার গুলো বাহির থেকে ক্রয় করে নিয়ে যান। নিজ হাতে খাইয়ে দিন তাদের। সন্তান হিসেবে আপনার জীবনের প্রথম আয়ের টাকা গুলো আপনার বাবা-মায়ের হাতে তুলে দিন। তারা অনেক বেশি খুশি হবে।

৫. ‘বিয়ে’ জীবনের অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একটি অংশ। আর এটি অবশ্যই বাবা-মায়ের পছন্দে করবেন। তবে শুধুমাত্র তাদের পছন্দই না; আপনি নিজেও আপনার মতামত প্রকাশ করবেন। আপনার এবং তাদের যৌথ পছন্দেই বিয়েটা করা উচিত। কিন্তু ভুলক্রমেও বাবা-মায়ের অমতে অথবা তাদেরকে না জানিয়ে বিয়ে করবেন না। এতে করে তারা আপনার দ্বারা জীবনের সবচেয়ে বড় ধাক্কাটা খায়। প্রত্যেকটা বাবা-মায়ের স্বপ্ন থাকে কষ্ট করে গড়ে তোলা তাদের সন্তানকে নিজে দেখে-শুনে জাঁকজমক ভাবে বিয়ে দিবে। এতে করে সন্তান হিসেবে আপনি পাবেন আপনার বাবা-মায়ের অফুরন্ত দোয়া ও ভালোবাসা এবং স্বয়ংসম্পূর্ণ একটি দাম্পত্য জীবন।

৬. শত কর্ম ব্যস্ততার মাঝেও পরিবারকে সময় দেবার চেষ্টা করবেন। নিজের বাবা-মাকে, স্ত্রী-সন্তান, ভাই-বোনদের যথাসাধ্য সময় দেবার চেষ্টা করবেন। ছুটির দিনগুলোতে পুরো পরিবার সমেত কোথাও ঘুরতে বের হয়ে যাবেন। এতে মনও ভালো থাকবে সাথে পরিবারের সবার মধ্যে অান্তরিকতা বৃদ্ধি পাবে। সংসারে সুখ-শান্তি বয়ে আনবে।

সবশেষে, সন্তান হিসেবে একটি পরিবারকে সুষ্ট ও সুন্দর ভাবে পরিচালনা করতে হলে এবং পরিবারের একজন যোগ্য সন্তান হতে হলে আপনাকে অত্যন্ত ধৈর্যশীল, বিচক্ষণ ও একটি সুন্দর মনের অধিকারী হতে হবে।
